Received call on my cell phone from Brian Smith, law offices of Robert Shaeffer (he misspelled the name) in Jacksonville, Florida.

He told me that I was charged with 3 counts and needed to appear in court in West Palm Beach, FL this Friday. I could also pay him now over the phone. Today is Tuesday. I asked him if he was going to pay my airfare because I lived in Texas. He told me that it was my problem. I kept hanging up on them each time he called back.

I contacted a payday loan company and they told me that I didn't owe any loan.

I verified that I am on the Do Not Call Registry so I don't get this.
A woman left a voice mail 10-11. She was hard to understand due to her accent and a poor connection. She asked me how I was doing & said she is an officer investigating a suit against me & my ss# and to call this hotline #. She stated her name, which I believe has it's origin in India; again, she was very difficult to understand.. She stopped & started several times, as if reading a script. Before ending the call, she told me not to ignore the message, have a nice day and God bless. Nice touch.
I called the # 10-12 and a man answered, also difficult to understand due to accent and poor connection. When asked the name of the compnay he said he's in PA in legal investigation. And he would help me by giving my name & ss#.
I have blocked this # from my phone. (Thank you, Verizon).
