This is a COLLECTION SCAM!! Do not give any info! You cannot be taken to jail for any unpaid debt! They have only a portion of your SS #~~~so don't be worried about your identity. They will LIE and ASK YOU FOR A CREDIT CARD TO "KEEP YOU OUT OF JAIL." Don't fall for their bull...simply tell them you're reporting them to the authorities and hang up. They have nothing!

They called me several times over the last three days, I never answered and they never left a message. Then my sister told me they called her and told her I have two charges against me and that they were trying to save me from going to court. They wouldn't give her any other information. Reading previous comments, this may be a data breach from a payday loan company. I used to get payday loans years ago but they were all paid on time, I'm 100% sure I have no outstanding debt and no charges against me. DON'T BELIEVE THEM!!

They continue to call today I finally answered and asked for information about their company so I could contact the states attorney they hungup - I called back they hung up as soon as I mention the states attorney. SCAM

I called back the number 844-202-1613. NATIONAL RECOVERY ASSOCIATES. she stated to me i had an outstanding payday loan from 2012, in the amount of 400.00 and that i was being sued in court, then she asked me if i wanted to take care of the debt. . I told her I didn't know what she was calling about and i wanted legal paperwork legitimizing the debt. she called back using saying I was going to jail. numbers also used is LOCAL numbers (which I find very weird if they are to be back east ) THIS IS A SCAM DONT FALL FOR IT.

National Recovery Associates keeps calling my phone asking for someone , not me. Probably previous phone owner. I have repeatedly asked for them to stop calling. Wrong number. It is Illegal for them not to comply. They change the numbers they call from if you block. There are free law firms on the web who fill sue them. Or you can file a complaint with the FTC.

In one week I've received 34 calls, 2 of my family members were getting them for me too(not sure how they got their numbers), so I called them today and spoke with some lady with the last name Brown. Very very rude. Said in 2011 I had a payday loan amount of $500 and if It wasn't paid over the phone immediately today by debit card I'd get a supeona to court and arrested.

REPORT THEM TO THE FBI WEBSITE.
