I have received many calls from this number and other numbers they use. Yesterday, my husband had left a message for a callback to get some help regarding a problem with his iPhone. The phone rang and he thought the caller was the return call from Apple. Not so. I didn't realize what was going on until I went into our office. My husband was having a hard time understanding the person on the phone and had the phone on speaker phone. The minute I heard this guys voice I shut down my husband's computer. This guy almost fooled me once but never again. My husband now knows to be more careful. Luckily we had just had new malware software added o our computers and the guy could not break through it. He had actually planted a fake Trojan on the screen. Here are the numbers that I have saved from those calls - 844-236-4224 (Log-Me-In.com) and 888-605-3681. The obviously use many numbers. I don't understand why they haven't been found and stopped. Probably from another country.
they called me and said they were Dell and that my computer might be compromised. I told them to stop calling me because I deal with dell directly and they weren't dell. I also told them that I had been placed on the do not call list. One time they said the computer lingo, I told them not to call and they said they would put me on the do not call list but wanted my credit card number. I hung up. They have called me four times.
Received call at my employment stating that if I didn't return the call that they would send legal paper to my job in reference to a payday loan they stated that I owed. When I asked for something in writing to verify the debt, they couldn't send it to me but wanted me to either pay it off or make payment arrangements over the phone. I explained that due to all kinds of account fraud no information would be given over the phone. He stated that would be considered a refusal to pay. I asked for a fax number he wanted to know why. I said so that I can respond in writing as documentation that I did not refuse to pay to challenge whether the debt was really mine. He refused and I refused to give any banking information over the phone. I also refused to verify my information. If he had my information I stated that I would verify what he had. He refused to do that process also. I hung up and stated I look forward to his legal correspondence.
Said they were from National Service Center. Said I had bank fraud on my account for a payday loan back in 2011 that I did not pay. Would not give me the details but said I would be sent to jail if I dion't pay them.
