This is indeed comcast. Maybe they outsourced it to a private contractor, but it is indeed comcast.

This company is claiming to be Comcast stating that they have detected an issue with my equipment and want to schedule a free technician to come into my home. I have called the real Comcast and they have no knowledge to an issue, offer, or the phone number above listed. My equipment works just fine.
