scammer,block this number
866-419-5000, call I. D. Said Waynesville city hall. I lived in a town called Waynesville back in the 1980'S!!! DUH everyone knows there isn't anyone at city hall in any town at 730pm on any day much less on Good Friday. Weird how somebody can have my cell phone number and try to trick me with something like that from my past of more than 30 years ago. Time to change number and carrier.
Why would anyone in their right mind think that calling me at 4:00am to wake me up and describe in exacting detail a missing person is a good idea? It’s completely absurd to think this is helpful to anyone. It’s hard enough getting to sleep and after this stupid Code Red missing person report, which my neighbors did NOT get, my wife never did get back to sleep last night. How does that help anyone at all? Hey Code Red, if it really is you calling, and you want to do some good, get this: AN OUNCE OF PRESENTATION IS WORTH A HUNDRED POUNDS OF CONTENT. Because that call was so worthless and disruptive I am suspicious it is really some sort of criminal scam and I will be dipped in gravy before I ever give Code Red anything but contempt. DO NOT CALL PEOPLE AT 4:00 am WITH A NON-EMERGENCY AND EXPECT COOPERATION. Why does that have to be pointed out to a reasonable person? It shouldn’t and that’s why I think it’s a criminal scam. I hope the criminals rot in hell for all eternity and that that nobody in creation takes their calls for mercy.
They identified as an test of the emergency services in my county.
