The caller id is "Potential Fraud" on 866-8878317. I have received 4 calls total and it is about every 3-4 days apart on my mobile phone. I do not answer them and they leave no voice mail either.

This number has been harassing me for months. They are calling claiming they are from Verizon and demanding I tell them personal information to confirm my account. I do not use Verizon and therefor have no account. I already reported them to the Federal Trade Commission but they still call me daily.

I got 3 or 4 calls from this number, so I got fed up and called back. The woman was stupid enough to ask for my Social and DOB!! Really? Are there people out there stupid enough to give up that info over the phone? SMH

They called me to. I was suspicious to so I called Verizon directly to confirm. The guy at Verizon had the details of my conversation with the people from 1-866-887-8317 in my account details and said the plan they offered was legit.

I contacted Verizon Wireless and upon their research they found that this number [866-887-8317] is a known fraudulent number. Verizon has it on their list and working on getting rid of it. If they call again, don't answer the call. Also, for future reference Verizon does not make outcalls for upgrades. Do not provide any information about your account. Do not give them addresses either.

Omg! Please beware of Shameria Teague. She is a credit card fraudster out of Orlando Florida also Maitland Florida. Do not give her any information she will steal your identity. She makes fake rental leases, income tax fraud, insurance fraud, social security fraud and much more. Be careful!!! She has already been reported to the authorities

This number is not associated with Verizon AT ALL!!!! They started this mess a year ago and ask for your pin number once saying you had made changes to your account. That WAS NOT TRUE!!! Verizon would never (nor any other consumer) ask for your pin and or password. It's amazing how these people have soooo much time on their hands when they should be getting ready for judgement day!!!!

This number called me, it is a bogus scam number offering a free upgrade. Do not provide any data to them and report the number to Verison. I also advise to put your number on the Do Not Call Registry for what its worth. Best of Luck!!!
