Showed up as "Credit Collection" on my caller ID. Said I owed Verizon $1200, but when I called Verizon, they said I didn't owe them anything and warned me to not pay anybody anything related to them.

This number called my cellphone while I was speaking to someone. I was expecting a call and assumed this was it so I returned the call. I'm not quite sure if a woman answered and read a statement or if it was a recording, saying that the call was in regard to collecting a debt. I immediately hung up as I do not have any debts.
