Also My mom (who works for AT&T) had said that if you call them back at number provided that they "CAN" steal your number and next thing you know you have a Large Phone bill. So Thank Goodness I talked to her 1st before doing anything with this number. and Im going to report this number so they can be stopped!!! Org text on date 1/24/11..

Burn them. Take a minute and file a complaint to https://www.donotcall.gov/ They already have been fined and the more complaints they get- the larger the fine/jail time.

Same as what everyone else is reporting. You've supposedly won some $200 gas card. Same number supplied, with "TXT STOP TO STOP".

I called to ask them to stop sending my mother text messages. As soon as I said I was NOT calling to get my "free" $200 gas card they hung up on me...3 times!!!

I did text STOP and received this text:

I received a text from 51297 You have been chosen to receive a $200 gas card. To find out more call 877-695-1619. Txt stop to stop.

I replied and actually got the $200 gas card for shell.....NOT lol dont reply and definitely don't call.

I called just to see what it was about. They asked my name and mailing address, told me the card would be a visa and I could use it as soon as I got it. Then told me there would be a one-time fee of $2.95 and asked for my credit card number. I hung up on them.

I received a text message from 51297 "You have been chosen to receive a $200 Gas Card! To find out more call 877-695-1619 TXT STOP TO STOP" Received 01/18/2011 at 2:18 CST

they promise you a gas gift card, for a one time fee. which has to come off a credit card. when i told them i didn't have one they hung up on me

I am not calling nor am I texting Stop. I am assuming that by texting stop it just confirms that your phone number is a real number, and prompts them to send more spam your way.
