Scam. People impersonating Dell trying to obtain personal info. Report to FTC

Person claiming to be calling from Dell. Very broken English.

877 790 3355 was received Tuesday, February 6, 2018, at 11:15am, saying "DELL TECH SVC," on the caller ID screen. No message was left.

Real Dell Technical Support and Dell Security claim they do not contact users by either internet or phone. Also they claim to not have any knowledge about these Dell Technical Support impersonators.

Internet search of phone number revealed numerous complaints from apparent India Dell Tech Svc Scammers. Apparently Dell computers are at fault for selling your phone number and quite possibly computer IP address to these Dell Technical Support impersonators.

Computer repair scam operated by Dell/Microsoft impersonators. They say your computer has a virus etc and they say they need remote access to fix it. Once granted access, they'll screw up your computer and charge you $89 or more to "fix" the problems they created. Total scam.

This call came in prior to today's call. Obviously, our government is lacking in it's job to protect tax paying U.S. Citizens from these multiple, harassing, fraudulent scam artists who have violate rights to live in the comfort of our homes in peace & harmony as well as fear of identity theft. I've reported many fraudulent scam numbers to the "DO NOT CALL," registry, local Attorney General, & have written to the FTC, FCC & called my telephone provider to block calls, to no avail!!!

They called me saying I had a problem. I told them I have geek squad and don't need the service. They called the next day claiming to be geek squad.

Called said they were with Dell advised I could not take this call (I had plumber here) He said F-You and hung up! Nice Dell tech you think I will not be taking anymore of these calls.

any calls received from a "toll free number" I instantly block the call. Apparently Dell computers is at fault for selling your phone number to these fools. Never answer, when it rings a toll free number, block the number

Caller's Name was Sing, scam for dell concierge service saying that computer is compromised, could not produce proper dell service tag, pushy and wanted to use a service to diagnose Ip hacking.

keeps calling saying from Dell and my computer has a problem. SCAMMER!

Dell Phishing call

I know this scam number and they will keep on calling you over and over.

I answer "Hello?"
Indian guy replies, "Hello, this is Dell, we are calling about your Dell computer"
I say, " OH - is this about the Dell computer that you have placed VIRUSES in?"
Indian guy says "Uhhhh, no....."
I say, "OH, then it is about some computers that you PLAN on putting viruses in?"
He hangs up the phone.
