got this call: 888-205-2354...her accent gave her away!!...Nothing against black people...but if they are calling you; it may be scam!!!

Got a call from 877-369-1344 -- says to call the number above -- says they are from Taylor Johnson. Just want to get money out of you. If you have a concern call Spectrum on another number. You know is good.

Started getting calls from Taylor Johnson at Brighthouse twice a day a couple of days ago after making changes to my Spectrum (formerly Brighthouse) services. Says it's an important matter, but gives no indication of what. The lack of such indication, coupled with the use of "Brighthouse" rather than "Spectrum" or even "Spectrum, formerly Brighthouse" makes me suspicious of this number. It is also not the usual patter they use for soliciting an evaluation of the last service call.

I called the Spectrum service number that I know is good to check my account. All is well; my bills are all paid. The service person said they saw no notes on my account from anyone named Johnson and have no idea why they may be calling except possibly a sales call. I have not called that number back. I told the service person they have my phone & email, so if there is any legitimate business Spectrum has with me, they can contact me with at least an indication of what they want so I can have some clue that the call really is from them.

Internet research has not provided a solid fact that this number is really associated with Brighthouse, just posters saying it probably is. If anyone actually calls this number, let us know if it really is them...and why they're not saying "Spectrum".
