JUST GOT A CALL FROM 888-451-1603 NAMED STEVE. HE SAID I WAS PAID UP TIL 2018 WITH THEM TO PROTECT MY COMPUTER. HE SAID THIS WAS A ROUTINE CHECK UP TO SEE IF WHAT THEY DOWNLOADED WAS STILL PROTECTING ME..I TOLD HIM HE WAS A SCAMMER HE SAID SHUT UP BITCH. I HUNG UP ON HIM. WHEN I HAD ASKED THE NAME OF HIS COMPANY HE SAID SUPERIOR TECH SERVICE. EVERYONE KNOWS THEY ARE THE BIGGEST SCAMMER AROUND. SORRY RE CAPS BUT I DONT SEE WELL. BEFORE I HUNG UP ON THE RUDE IDIOT , I BLEW MY HI SPEED LOUD WHISTLE IN HIS EAR.
Tried to scam/hack my PC by saying they were Dell. I hung up. Called Dell tech. support at 800-387-5727. They took report and asked that I also fill out info for their legal team at www.Dell.com/reportphonescams.
I also got a call and they claimed to be from Dell and wanted me to log on and let them control my computer because it was compromised, some sort of security Issue. They would not explain. They were dot heads hard to understand but made it a little believable from Dell. Dell needs to have more security on our information and quit giving contracts to foreign countries to prevent fraud. They had my service tag # also, but a fraud
called last night and said I have problems and would I leave my computer on, which I did and then this AM a James Carter phoned and said I am hacked, after an hour he said they need $2,799 to correct my computer with "Sonic Wall NSA Network Security"
Waste their time. Tell them it takes 5 minutes to boot up the bad PC. Make them wait, then drag it out even more. I had them on the phone for 45 minutes pretending to do what they were saying. When I got bored, I laughed and told them I knew exactly what they were trying to do. WOW did he get PISSED! It was fun --- and they haven't called back.
