Someone called from 727-556-5000 saying her name as "Kathern or Kathy" (unintelligible) claims to be from Macy's Authorization Department--she says they have re-run my credit card for purchasing a mattress about a month ago--even though I already have a confirmation number for mattress being deliver on Sept. 30th, 2021. This is 2nd time a woman has called saying this. I have attached an audio recording of her call today! Listen--please stop her from this SCAM.

Another woman called (with the same accent) and said she was from Macy's and she need to recharge my credit card for a mattress that a family member purchased for me. This time she called from 727-556-5000, but, said call back at 888-456-7467! Same fraudster trying to steal money from people who frequent Macy's! Someone needs to track her down and stop her business via the telephone.

9/22/2021 I received a call from 1-888-467-7467 number this morning and "Rachel" said that the credit card my daughter used to buy a mattress online from Macy's needed to be run again. I asked why, she already paid for the mattress and has a confirmation number. 'Rachel' said that is because Macy's put the credit card on 'hold' for 25 days and after 25 days they have to re-run the credit card. I told her that this is NONSENSE and shame on Macy's doing this. (This is a SCAM, because my daughter never gave Macy's my phone number to begin with) This doesn't make any sense! Macy's real customer service line is: 1-800-289-6229 Do not give 'Rachel' or whoever they say they are your credit card information! Hang up the phone!

I had the same experience. They told me I have an unpaid bill. What's weird is two weeks before I had a charge from Macy's that I didn't make so I canceled my credit card. Now this person is wanting money.
