I just got a voicemail about verification of an order ‘on a business account’. I don’t have a business and Verizon is not my carrier…

Same number, same story. Very convincing except they did not have correct information. Do not give them any real information. They are phishing. I did not hang on long enough to get a name, I could tell he was trying to get me to verify. He did ask for a verizon phone to send a verifying code to. This is something Verizon has done when I call them to verify I am who I am. Verizon also can send to your email and they have email addresses on file. The person who call me could not verify my email address, they just guessed. It was wrong!

If this number calls you, it's a scam.
If you call it, you will get Verizon's actual fraud department because it is their actual number. The point is, Verizon doesn't call you, so if this number is calling you, it's probably scammers using the number as cover.

Guy just called. I asked what his supervisor's name was. "your mother n***". Either it's spam, or just a really disgruntled worker.

Called at 10:18 a.m. 12/19/19. They left a voice mail: "Customer. Your code has been frozen (or something like that). To reactivate your account, please press one". I hung up. SCAM.

Number cancelled my phone order and then mandated a photocopy of my current ID be sent to them via their ‘secure’ link. Told them no and, glad I did.

Got a call from this number only a couple of hours after I had purchased a new phone. Been with Verizon for over 20 years. Scam, scam, scam.

Just received a call and voicemail from this number. Didn’t call back. Said I needed to contact a representative to reactive my account. Wouldn’t phones stop working if it were to be deactivated? Seems fishy to me. I believe its a scam.

5 Robocalls today. I called verizon's support number to confirm and blocked the number from calling again.

Caller from this number 1(888)483-6963 left a voicemail saying that they were from Verizon Wireless fraud .... this is a scam ... I did not call the number back... I’ve had Verizon call me for fraud before and it came up as Tech Support on my phone when someone was trying to charge $4,000 dollars to my account for data. So therefore I knew that this was a scam.
