same. I asked how he got my number and he says we buy lists. I asked if Verizon sold him that list and hung up.

Caller: Police Org.
Police organization apparently. Wanted to send me paperwork if I made a committed amount for donation. I said send me what you want but I can’t commit to an amount now. He said well I need a commitment, and I said well you’re not getting it. Total scam because it’s the same voice that calls and asks for multiple different people.

Said they were from US Veterans Association, sounded like the guy who calls for the police, firefighter, etc, said his name was Paul from Hillsboro, Wisconsin. 908 772-8117 came up as caller ID, when I asked for his last name he hung up.
