Did anyone else recently start up something with Free Credit Report.com? That's when I started getting the phone calls.
This happens to me at least once a day from different numbers that are disconnected when I call back. Verizon said I could block the calls for an extra $5 a month, but my monthly bill is high enough.
I have fun with the caller, since they always seem to hang up if I ask any questions, I went the Wayne's World route. I just keep repeating, "Assphincter hangs up." or "If you eat dog$#!t, you'll hang up." That makes them reluctant to hang up, so I can get in a question or two, which they won't answer. Eventually they hang up and have to go home knowing they are dog$#!t eating assphincters.
Try it. It's fun!

I didn't pick up, but checked this site instead. They left no message. Isn't this a violation of the Do No Call List?

Same... such bull. Can't wait for them to call again. Will waste their time like they waste mine.

caled today "last chance for credit card" .. stayed on the line and spoke with MARK .. told him to take my number off the calling list.. he began pushing the phones buttons beeping in my ear before he hung up.

this number has called a lot in the last couple days but i finally got to it today...press 1 to speak with a FRIENDLY sales agent to lower your credit card rates, pressed 1, and a man (no name given) answered right away "did you press 1 to lower your credit card rates today?" i replied, "No, i pressed 1 to have you remove my number from your calling list" CLICK.... yeah, THAT'S REALLY "friendly"! tried to call the number back and it's "not in service". the next time they call i think i'll lead them on for as long as i can.

Was a recorded message. Said to press one to speak to a rep and no one answered. This has been about the 20th time this number has called and I'm tired of it!
