Called me today. By the way, my Verizon bill is due as I've noted other people have said that they have received calls from this number when their Verizon bill is due. So, regardless of what Verizon has said, there IS a connection in SOME form.

The number belongs to Verizon and it is their billing department if you are late on a bill or need to pay your bill

I am sick of this!!!!!!!! Why doesn't someone do something about it???They obviously know who is doing this. Is money the only thing people are interested in these days?????? Every supposedly "free" look-up wants my credit card info so they can bill me for information about this number. I think they are all in cahoots!!!!!

This is Verizon Financial Services. Calls are auto generated which is why sometimes you pick up and no one is there at first.

Earlier today I got a hangup call where callerid showed 949-286-3311. This phone number does actually go thru to Verizon Financial Services. I just called it. They said that there were no calls to me today. And, that actual calls from Verizon show as unidentified. What I believe is happening - some scammer is somehow able to show this number in the callerid. So, BEWARE. These calls are likely not actually from Verizon
