I no sooner hung up with Verizon, they called my cell. Wasn't even 5 minutes later.

Just talked to Verizon Tech support and recieved a cal from theis number about an hour later . . I do not pick-up calls from numbers I do not rec., so I googled the number and came up with this. Bad job Verizon!!

I was very happy with Verizon up until two months ago. I never had a contract, and felt ok with that. I used about 15 minutes per month at the most as I have a land line I use for most phone conversations. I usually have about 30 to 40 hours a month in long distance alone.

I was lied to by a salesman at a Verizon store when I got WiFi internet. He told me I could watch 5 movies per month on it, I figured 5 movies times 2 hours would be ten hours of video. There is NO WAY I watch 10 hours of video every month. No possible way, at all

Their plans are 5 gigabites per month for $50.00 and 10 gigabites per month for $80.00. and *supposedly* they do not have a *plan* larger than that.

BUT - - - IF you go over your allotted time, it is $10.00 per EACH additional gigabite.

Now THAT sounds like a PLAN to me.

one guy was billed $380.00 .... yes indeed, it IS a plan, they just don't call it that.

when salespeople lie to you resulting in your being forced to pay hundreds of dollars more than you were told, then it is theft! Plain and simple.

but that's ok.

big corporations get away with it. It is now considered normal business practice; they have shareholders to pay and if they screw up too badly the taxpayers will bail them out! But the little guy stealing money to feed his family because he's lost his job ..goes to jail in a heartbeat.

After spending all morning with Verizon representatives trying to make my phones as immune as possible from unwanted texts and unwanted spam phone calls, within an hour I got an unwanted phone call message trying to sell me a service that will report incoming cell phone call origins by city and state. When I called 949-286-3973, the number that this spam came from, I was greeting by a Verizon auto-answerer that wanted me to take a CUSTOMER SATISFACTION survey! I was totally floored! Why can't we have a spam-free service from Verizon when we have done nothing to invite the spam in the first place?!
