The company doing the calling appears to be http://altitudegroup.biz/ which may or may not be the same company as http://www.marketingaltitudegroup.com/ (they won't respond to my emails to confirm this)

They are looking for businesses with at least $50k in revenue per month. (i.e. $600k / yr)

Every lead generated by Altitude Group costs Capital Direct Loans $40.

Keep calling and do not leave a message. I eventually blocked the number.

I first got the calls last week. When they continued calling into the next week, I searched for a way to stop the calls because asking them didn't do any good. Fortunately, I found a blog comment saying to call 866-246-7196 and to give the caller's phone number so they can verify it's on their list and the receiving phone number to add to the do not call request list. I was very happy when the calls stopped and wanted to share this with others.

Just called me selling a "small business loan". I did not press 1, but pressed "2" to be removed. I very much doubt I'll be removed. This is at least the 20th call I've gotten from this company in the last 6 months.

The only way to combat telemarketing is to keep them on the phone as long as possible. If they lose money, they will stop. Their only expense is labor. If everyone in the world kept telemarketers on the phone for 10 minutes and never bought, they'll go bankrupt.
