Funny Same thing... I picked up a phone call that was a voice automated machine saying i owe the IRS and if i do not comply to follow through and contact them The local Police will come to arrest me and i will be taken into custody. I thought well i better call to see WTH! because each year H&R does my taxes... So when i called the Number 202-204-0479 some Indian Guy picked up... so i asked who they were trying to get ahold of and he told me to hold on and sounded like he flipped a paper then responded with my name but pernounced it wrong, so then i said we'll this is she may i ask what this is about, then he aburtenlly hung up the phone, so then i called back again he anwsered then hung up, called about 6 times and the last time he anwsered and so i said yes i called this number because it showed up in my voicmail then he hung up haha wth, the last time these type of scammers went so far to call my work and try to threaten me, i told them this a goverment facility and i am a goverment employee but before i could finish they hung up and i never heard from the so called DebtCollector of Fincal Instituion blah Something should be done with people like this i mean if your going to steal peoples money and make a living off it @ least be a robbin hood at it #Thieves

An Indian woman left me a voice message from this number. She told me that the IRS has a file/case pending against me and if I don’t call within the next 24hr, the sheriff will come and take me into custody…

I received repeated call from 202-204-0479 number. I reconfirmed with H&R block folks and other friends... IRS will send the notice at least 7-9 months before giving a call. So, relax down and just block this number.

a person called my cell stating that i was selected for audit 2008-2012 due to error. when i mentioned H&R Block he slammed down the phone. This is a scam people don't fall for it!!!

I have been getting calls too about a notice of arrest. THis is a scam.
they tend to do this to old people and get their money. I wish there is something that can be done to arrest these people.

They called our business line today and it is now an automated voice saying the Marshall's will be issuing a warrant for your arrest if you don't handle the issue in 24 hours.

OMG, they called me today also!
they said that I had a random audit from 2008-2012 & owed $2800.
He said I had to pay today or the Marshall would be issuing a warrant for my arrest.
THNAK goodness I didn't fall for this scam.
He did scare me for a minute though!!

Just got a call from an Indian guy. Said he was from IRS. That I owed 1900.00. I was very upset. I told him my dad was a tax attorney. He hung up. Very upsetting.

I have got a call from some Indian guy (couldn't understand the name) who stated he was with the IRS. He told that they had 2010-2014 audit and found an error in my tax return, and that a letter was sent, but I did not respond. Finally, that a sheriff was being summoned to my home with a warrant due to my non-response. I said, "Did you speak with my CPA?" and he responded that it's not the CPA's responsibility for payment. Then I said, "No, but he files my returns and you should have also notified him." -- and he hung up.

I have got a call from Daniel Cruz, IRS. He told that they had 2008-2012 audit and found an error in my tax return in the amount $2076. He told that a letter was send to me in June 14,2014, but I did not respond. He offered 3 option how to resolve this issue and avoid penalty. When I insist to send my all information in writing, he told " Hold on.." and ended a call.

I received a call on my cell phone with this number claiming to be from the IRS. the person had a very bad he into action but I couldn't understand anything you said but, out of everything I know to something about 2800 dollars A from a text file in 2000

recieved email with this number he was claiming he was Don Marshall who worked for the Dept of Justice in WashingtonD.C. i called the number and operator said unable to coonect to location why would a direct line to justice dept be unable to connect sorry scammer putting a plus + in front of a number isinternational number and bogus no US number has that

An Oriental lady called and said that I was chosen to receive a grant from our government in the amount of $10,000. The number that came up on my cell phone was 888-999-0783. She then ask for my address, my age, if I was employed, and a few other questions that I don't remember right now. She then told me to call 202-204-0479 and ask to speak to Justin. I called this number and the connection was very bad, but I did talk to someone named Justin. I was supposed to, and did give him a conformation number that she gave me. AMS453. The connection was so bad I just hung up.
