They called me too, left a voicemail:
and said I was being sued by the IRS. I know they always send letters...often certified if it is that serious.

Another IRS scam

They called left voicemail saying I had an irs lawsuit against me. I called back to get information they had an extremely old address I'm sure they also had my last name as my ex husbands. Very loud background they gave me 4 counts I was being charged with. Count 1 violation of irs court
Count 2 violation of federal tax registration
Count 3 violation count by deception
Count 4 allegations of willfullness (not a word lol) of misrepresentation of government (I think) she got mad everytime i asked a question.
She said if I don't agree to pay today they will issue a warrant for my arrest, arrest me, in 24 hours I'll be taken into the court house and if I can't pay they will throw me in jail and I couldn't understand the rest. The amount I owed was $3892 the person didn't speak great English and said her name was Donna parker I'm sure fake. At this point I told her I know it's fraud and I was just getting information to report them to the ftc!
IF YOU GET A PHONE CALL REPORT IT TO THE FTC. THE IRS NEVER CALLS YOU NEVER THREATENS YOU WITH ARREST. THEY ALWAYS SEND LETTERS. I have owed the irs so that's why I knew this.

they keep calling me. I called back. "Natan Walters" with an unidentifiable accent claims to be working for the IRS. He hung up on me when I asked him which department he was working in.

They said I committed fraud with the IRS and I owe $3800 from the year 2010-2015.

IRS will never, ever call taxpayerse, IRS will send letters only.

They call several times a day! When I finally called back the number (631) 402-9589, they told me I owe the IRS a lot of money!
