I work for one of the outsourcing companies used by DNB, and wanted to confirm this is indeed the legitimate ANI we leave on our outbound PBX trunks. DNB asked us to leave this number, that when called simply says we tried to contact a business to update their records. It is not a scam, however we do use agents in the Philippines and India, as well as in the USA. Just wanted to confirm that this is indeed Dun&Bradstreet corporation. If you call this number back you will hear a recording confirming as such. FYI, their direct number for customer service (which is always staffed) is 800-234-DUNS.

A call reported to be from Dunn & Bradstreet but is a SCAM

They called my home number and I hung up as soon as I heard Dunn & Bradstreet. They had the audacity to immediately call again. I let it go to the answering machine. They didn't leave a message.

Just called me, woman with indian accent, can hardly understand her....acts like she is updating the business for their records and slowly starts asking person questions...wanted my date of birth, wanted to know if the business is in my home or if I rent a space....when she asked about my birthday I told her she isn't getting it and then when she wanted to know if it was my home I told her that I was now hanging up because she is asking questions Dunn and Bradstreet wouldn't ask. Serious Scammer...what would have been next, "whats your bank account number?" I mean come on.
