I don't think they'll be calling back, my dog whistle hopefully blew out their ear drum. They have called four times and refuse to say which company they are calling from. Also I have to identify myself and my email address.

Myself and work colleague in South Africa received a call from this number. I ignored it. Colleague answered. Some indian guy wanted his email address to send him some info on an investment.

I'm South African. I didn't answer the call as I didn't recognise the number but from reading the comments made by others, I believe it's some kind of a scam. I have blocked the number from my phone..

I'm South Africa, just received a call from this number - also about investments/stock market. Wanted me to provide an e-mail address for a newsletter.

Caller insisted that this is NOT a telemarketing call....yeah right!

I live in NZ and just received a phone call from some guy with an accent, sounded like it was from the Middle East/Indian or something like that. He rung to offer some free, no obligation information about the stock market. I said no thank and he was wasting his time and the guy hung up on me.

Me too, same day and I live in South Africa! No answer though from my side as it was in the very, very early hours of the morning! Sorry only found this site now. Somehow this number is tied to a 11 491 1000 which is both a SA number and a GB number? The two started virtually at the same time?

I just got a call from that number asking me for my email address because they want me to show me some interesting investments. I asked them where they got my name and number and they said trough my phone company? the accent of the guy was from scotland

My dad just received a call from this number but I picked up and this guy knew his name. He didn't want to leave a message and the accent of the guy was also from Scotland
