Got a new caller msg on the display of phone recently switched from Bell to a different phone provider (ISP). While no message was left, the phone button on the phone showed the date and time of this number and it had Bell as caller name. I am reading this thread and realizing I am glad to have let call go to VM which I set up two nights ago. Ha!
did not say anything when i picked up the phone and neither did the caller

In my case, this is an automated "are you happy with the service" call. Impersonal, but hardly annoying.
THIS IS NOT BELL! My mother worked there for over 30 years. I am from Montreal and they do not speak french. To work at Bell in QC, you need to be bilingual, especially as a Customer Service/Sales rep. Ive answered in french and get hung up on immediately. Others could not answer simple questions. Also not a phone number Bell is registered to
Calls come in as Bell Canada or the proper number, it varies. I finally answered and they tried to sell me on Fibe TV and internet service.
