This number has been calling for over 6 mths very annoying

spam calls phone harassment..

So I just started getting these calls daily and decided to search up the number and discovered it was bell. I used to cold call for bell and it was horrible so please be nice to the agents, its not their fault its just bell. I just want to make a couple things clear - a computer dials and calls automatically and the agent has no control over who they talk to, if you ignore the calls you can end up on multiple lists and you can get called multiple times a day and it sucks! Sucksss! Worst of all the law requires the calls to be placed from 10am to as late as 10pm even on Sundays. If u listen to the agents spheel (usualy promotions or upgrades - can actually help you save money sometimes) without automatically hanging up they wont call you for another year typically. If you really want to stop the calls ask to be put on the do not call list. Upon verifying your name and number and waiting out the processing time the computer will not legally call you for another three years. Its what I usually do instead of getting fed up by avoiding their calls. Be warned their trained to counter you at-least three times - its what bell wanted if you wanted to keep a job!

the call from 866 301 2561 came under the name as Bell Canada, what a low life person can do this calls to so many people, If it is a legitimate business they would introduce themselves, or leave a message. Too bad this thing got too far with this companies.

I didn't answer first time they called. Next day they called again, and I picked up.
As expected, Nordiac on behalf of selling Bell services. I found the call to be tricky, because the person was trying to get me to say "ok" or "yes", while talking about a tv satellite service and asked me if it is ok to go ahead with explaining it. I felt it was like a trap to get a "yes" from me on record after they might go ahead in a sign up of sorts.
I just answered with that I don't want tv. He tried a couple more times. Then he thanked me for my time, and the call ended. I don't think they have anything on record that could be interpreted as me being ok with anything.
I purposely went this whole call because I'm seeing that others can't seem to get these people to stop calling. I hope that it was noted in their system that I'm not interested. Hopefully their business model says to not spend any further on a customer that clearly does not want the service. So these are tips for everyone. Deal with this call. Be clear that you do not want these services and that do not want to make any changes. Be careful "agreeing" with proceeding with anything. Avoid using the words "ok" and "yes". Complete the conversation. Then hope they mark you as "no" in their system, so that you won't get these people calling over and over...

I never answer unknown calls. Thanks to this site (and others, similar), I know that Bell/Nokia calls just about every day (even Sundays) and sometimes several times a day. Those clowns should be jailed or sent back to where they came from. No damned wonder that Bell has the reputation it has. I'll be providing my input to CRTC study/survey . . . including that being on the DNC list provides no protection from idiots with robocalling equipment. Does Bell run the DNC list???

TOTAL SCAMMER....Left a message / No Business Name, No agent Name...did leave a case number saying I was being sued. Failure to call back would lead to my arrest.
