The phone rang twice. I was just fed up enough with spam calls I decided to answer it and tell them off in person rather than block them. However, when answering on the second ring, I got a dial tone. No I called back and got a saccharine voice telling me how they (Merit Research), were violating no laws by calling me, as a matter of fact, they were doing me a favor, because they were just going to ask me some questions, however, if I didn't want them to call me at all, I could call a different number to tell them not to call me at all. I chose to block them instead. Insisting sweetly you are breaking no laws is worse than the call in the first place.

Why do they keep calling. I've NOT answered several of their calls. Do they ever get the fucking point or do they just keep calling.

I received a call from this number and it is NOT a standard survey or telemarketing call............It is a follow-up call about a recent service visit at my local Ford Dealer.
