I received the same set of calls/threats. Three things were particularly suspicious: 1) IRS would not be calling me from a small town in upstate New York (caller ID said Herkimer, NY), 2) government offices aren't likely to call ,on a Saturday, and 3) they had no idea who they were calling (the one time a human called, rather than machine, he asked for someone who has been dead for almost 30 years but whose wife keeps the phone listed in his name. I contacted the IRS

foreignor thick accent several times i was to be arrested for 5 federal criminal charges, very difficult to understand even listening repeatedly. Said name was officer Bos??? The worst call I've got in like this

I got two of these calls in the morning, exact same threatening messages. robo female's voice.

Got the same message. Knew it was a scam call right away because the IRS won't call you, they would send certified mail to you.

Pasted from my gvoice transcription of a computer-generated voice from this number: "Appearance before a magistrate judge or a grand jury for a federal criminal offense. Now, this iis the final attempt to reach you. To know your case number and to speak to a federal agent call back on 315 207 4903. I repeat 315 207 4903. Thank you. [human male's voice]: Thank you for your time. You will not be contacted again."

Received call threatening to arrest me on 5 federal charges. I know it's a scam but I called and someone answered saying "IR may I help you?" I asked what IR is and they hung up. The next time I called they said IRS. I told the man I knew he wasn't IRS and the next call I make will be to the FBI. He hung up. Just FYI. Have had a blissfully call free day.

ID from Oswego,NY. Message says I have a federal grand jury indictment and to call back for my case number. Fishy? Nahhhhhhh
