They called me to telling me it was my final call and there was a lawsuit against me by the IRS. I called back via a different number as well and no answer. Yes I would agree that the IRS should be answering their phone. Then I did a search and found this. Is there something I should do locally about this?

received a call 11/4/15 stating they were the IRS trying to collect from us and left 2 messages from this number.

I got same call (about 10th time), such a scam. I called by from another number and NO ANSWER, you would think the IRS could answer their phone (LOL) WHAT IDIOTS

Clueless idiots. It's a scam. I called them back and jerked the guy around for a few minutes for laughs. Asked for my SSN, I gave him his phone number backwards dropping the last number.

No name, foreign accent. Told me a lawsuit against me had been filed by the IRS. Asked to verify my social, I told him to tell me what it was and I'd verify. Hung up.

called me I didnt answer but they left an electronic message, saying same thing a threat we are to be sued by IRS , so me and my husband decided to call them and play dumb and scam them on just for fun! what Idiots ..

I just received this call too - Foregin speaking man claimed to be named "Larry Jackson" threatening me because I wouldn't give him my info - called him out on this being a scam & he hung up & will not answer me now

Also, received this call. My advice don't call back is a scam to still your IDENTITY. I work for IRS, we don't contact the person ln this manner. We send letters.

Thank you. i got the call and called them back and when he told me i owe back taxes from 2005-2010 he said because i didnt file. well i wouldnt' since I am married and filed as married not individual. Told them until i get notification in the mail they can do whatever they want. how can we report this. there are people out there that will fall for it and dont want them to get this happen to them.

Received this morning returned call put on hold and had to repeat home number and name and then they had wrong address - sounded like they were tape-ing everything you say - Sounded like a scam to me - Very hard to understand lady -

Also received this call regarding the same thing. The best part is whoever programmed the message wasn't proficient in the English language.
