I called this number back today and they claimed they are lawyers which you could hear people typing in the background, baddd indian accents and just by me calling this number this guy rattled off my social security number and the call was not even for me to begin with!!! who do I contact about these people??

okay, so this indian guy called and asked for my mom; i said she's not availiable right now can i take a message; he said his name was john harris and his # was 760-262-0980 and that she has a lawsuit against her, i said may i ask what it is regarding and he said he doenst want to break the law by telling me. So i called my mom and told her, and called this asshole back and told him off, i told him that i know it is a scam and that there are alot of reports and high scam activity about his #, and he asked for my name and # and i said excuse me i'm not stupid i know this is a scam so DO NOT call this # or any # again. IF YOU GET A CALL FROM THIS # TELL THE PERSON THAT YOU KNOW IT IS A SCAM, AND THAT THERE ARE REPORTS ABOUT HIS #.

Caller: he said his name was John Harris, but i asked for james parker(from the other report) and he said he is not in today

This has happened to me twice. I was also told this was a scam. I contacted the company's I do have payday loans with and they told me this was a scam and do not out source their collections that everything is done in house. I have also contacted the FBI Fraud unit and they told me the same thing. Do not call them back

I received a call today from a India man claiming he will send a local sheriff to my house to arrest me. Due to a lawsuit filed against me in regards to a cash advance that was unpaid. These people are crazy I've been dealing with these people for about one year. They call about twice a week all with India accents.

Caller said he was "James Parker" with Williams Law Frim, 1924 Sanctuary Park, Suite 250, SanDiego Cal. 90067. He has called me at work threatening a law suit against me. I told him not to call my work and that any legal reports should be sent to my home address.

HE KEEP CALLING MY STATING I TOOK OUT A PAYDAY LOAN WITH THEM, AND THEY HAD OBTAIN MY INFORMATION FROM INTERNET, THEY THINK I AM STUPID KEEP ASKING ME MY ADDRESS, I REFERRED THEM TO MY ATTORNEY ALMOST SIX MONTHS AGO, THEY CALL AND THEN TIME PASSES AND THEY CALL AGAIN, I TOLD THEM I HAVE NEVER DONE BUSINESS WITH THEM AND THEY ARE A SCAM THAT I AM GOING TO REPORT. KEEP ASKING ME PERSONAL INFORMATION LIKE I AM STUPID, IF I DONE BUSINESS WITH THEM THEY HAVE ALL THE INFORMATION THEY NEED ON ME. I HOPE SOMEONE CAN CATCH THEM AND MAKE THEM STOP THEIR HARRASSING PHONE CALLS, HE SPEAKS ENGLISH VERY LITTLE HARD TO BE UNDERSTOOD, A SCAM. DOESNOT SPEAK HIS NAME CLEAR, ACCENT, THREATENS ME TO CALL HIM BACK OR I WILL REGRET IT.

These indian people are a true scam. They change names and phone numbers as well. Even called my work, which I am pretty sure it is illegal and they can't give out personal information as to why they are calling "like legal action". I have no pay day loan but I did apply and decided against it. That is how they get your information, I think. They call every couple of months.
