I cancelled my ADT service last week. They're crooks and charge nearly three times higher than their local competitors! Now, they're calling my phone! ADT should've been calling and offering me a better deal while I was a loyal customer! They could've retained a loyal customer. This is RIDICULOUS!!
ADT is engaged in unethical business practices and the height of it is they do this not just to the new customers but also to their lang loyal customers!!!
I had them for 20 years. When I asked for upgrading the system they forced an on site appointment to reevaluate. Then the estimates were 100s of dollars more then the competitors, actually it starts from 1500$ and goes went upto 3500$. This was ridiculous.
Old folks who never rate-shop will get scammed by this approach of ADT.
When I disconnect ADT service I specifically asked if I owe anything and the answer was no nothing. A week later I received a letter stating that I owe them 36$ (monthly monitoring fees) though I used to pay in advance and disconnected before the billing cycle!!!
Now they keep calling and leave no message.
This company is doomed for a big failure because they don't treat their customer well.
ADT calling the emergency phone in our elevator multiple times a day. I called ADT to ask them to stop. They have not. I set this line up ONLY for emergency use in the elevator. Time Warner sold this info to ADT.
