They text my number and quoted a file but I don't owe them anything

I'm in central Ontario, Canada. I'm curious if people are receiving calls in the United States as well. I receive different calls but most of the times they say to have my lawyer call their office about a "mandate" that has been issued against me. Mandate? Mmmm. That is fishy. I am not aware I owe any money and don't see anything on my credit report. I have never picked up their calls or called them back but it does make me nervous. They quote an address in Mississauga. Is there anything that can be done to make this go away??! I've seen multiple reports that they're toll free number is being rerouted from a location outside of North America. I have blocked their phone number but still get their voicemails. So frustrating.

Called about a debt from 2007 which is not on my credit report. Very rude and aggressive. Gave personal information to me verified only by a birth date, do not even call them back.

I just moved and had new TELUS Number. The person that had that number collectors are after him. They have the wrong person and I told them. They said they sent Letters. I checked no mail so I assume they mailed it to the other guy. They said on my cell they are from Mississauga. They should make sure they have the right person.
They also called that guys work place. That person never told his friends he no longer has that number. Now I am getting calls.
