says in automated words its a fraud department but requires full credit card number to reach customer service. DO NOT enter your number its a scam. I have had several like this.
I did not respond to the automated message that was the same as described above, but did pull up my MC info online to make sure there were no charges on their that we didn't do. Since there were not, I definitely agree that this is a scam.
SCAM!! Recorded message about being from the fraud department with Barclay's - a hold was being placed on my master card until I spoke to them. I don't have a master card! And don't bank with Barclay's
Called and left a garbled, recorded message about a hold being placed on a Mastercard.
Obviously a scam.
Automated voicemail message notifying me of a hold on my account due to fraudulent activity. Gave me the website barclaycard.com, which is for Mastercard....I don't own a Mastercard.
