I route some calls to an IVR (phone menu) -- it never rings my phone they are sent directly to be tormented

so to ENCOURAGE removal of my number I AUTOMATE WASTING THEIR TIME & MONEY

it goes on and on with longer pauses and LOUD profanity

agents take notes on calls... the more negative feedback they have in THEIR system about MY number

the sooner THEY will VOLUNTARILY STOP calling me

I don't mind paying $0.001/min to automatically abuse them into deleting my number. (forward call to SIP URI, voip service with IVR feature like vitelity .com, anveo .com, voip .ms)

It's waaaaay more effective than being polite

I called (877) 565-1688 . I spoof my callerid so they cannot mess with me. DO NOT call them from a phone that has received a call from them

port your number to voip so you can TAKE CONTROL of your phones

you should be able filter incoming by either caller id number or caller id name, to:
+ disconnect
+ play fake phone disconnected error
+ always busy
+ fake ringing to them no ringing your phone
+ blacklisted announcement
+ code challenge
+ voicemail


a more advanced plan will allow you to auto-forward to people with the coercive force of government to discourage their abuse:

+forward to: THEIR local police station
+forward to: THEIR local FBI office
+forward to: FCC
+forward to: THEIR local newspaper sales

I started getting calls from this # after responding to an ad in autotrader.com about a car I saw. I only inquired once with a Houston area dealer, so I don't know why someone on the east coast would call.

they call my house like 7 times a day and when I answer they hang up on me, I try to call back and it hangs up on me as well...

A woman called saying I inquired about a Mercedes online, which I never did. She left this message & number with my mom but no name. I called back but didn't get anyone.

Called me 5 times within the past 6 days. They leave no msgs and when I answer, they hang up. I had sent a question about a car on ford dealership website and that's when this number begin calling.

They keep calling me and not saying anything. the one time i did answer and speak to someone they said my name. i told them they have the wrong number but i still get the calls. i just purchased a new car they probably got my info from the dealer's website.

This number has repeatedly called me for three days. I answered the first time but they did not talk or provide a name. I stopped answering

Answered the first call but didn't say anything (just answered & hit mute right away). No one said anything, then hung up.

Got a second call 30 minutes later and answered. The person on the other line asked for me by my first name... I have no idea what this number is or why/how they have my name...
