Received a call AT WORK and they decided to leave a message with the person that answered the phone about MY personal business? They apparently said court documents had been issued, gave a case number, and said I need to call by 4pm if I don't want to be served legal documents at work. Is it even legal to leave a message like that with someone that is not the person they were calling for? Seems like a violation of privacy. The name of the person on the message that called is "Tori Black". Needless to say, I won't be calling back by 4pm.

I also received a phone call from Private Number. The man stated he was calling from Legal Claim Service and wanted to verify if I would be home to receive a Court summons. He provided me with a phone number and Case number to reference to get more details as well as schedule a time so I would not "receive a Failure to Appear." First of the idiot doesn't realize that I work in the legal field. Ha Ha. There is no Failure to Appear on a Civil case. I have noticed on other websites that the number he provided is linked to a scam operation out of California. It might possibly be collections agency for credit card company, but I have had a credit card in over 6 years.
I received a call and was from a private number did not answer and they left me a voice mail to call 77-906-7972 so not sure if i could not hear the first number but listened to it several times they gave my address and said it would be in my best interest to call back with in 24 hours or they would issue a summons from the clerks office. So i called the RF associated because i assumed the first number was an 8. On the message i received they gave a 5 digit reference number....does this sound right?

Someone called and asked for me and said that I was being summoned to court but would say no details after that. When I called back the number is no longer in srvice.
We've received several calls from this number today and decided to call back to know who it is. The number doesn't exist, apparently it's spoofed. isn't it illegal?
