Called Wells fargo yesterday about a personal loan,they forwarded me to 1-877-924-3604, where i did a loan app. over the phone.. (Wells Fargo forwarded my call so I have to believe they are associated with Wells fargo)

I work with Wells Fargo. this number is for Consumer sales. so if you ever need to reach a specific banker you call that number and enter their extension. it's not normally listed because most people talking to that department call into the standard 1800 WFB OPEN and get transferred. you should only see that number on caller ID if one of three things is happening: 1) you recently applied for a loan of line of credit (credit card included) they are calling you to followup with a loan. 2) you talked to someone ins ales and requested at some point in the call that they call you back on x day at x time. or 3) you have a business relationship and a small group of specialized bankers are calling you to followup about a specific offer made to you via the mail, this includes loans/lines of credit, and especially credit card offers. they are SUPPOSED to leave a message when presented with a voicemail, but most just ignore this policy and move on to the next call. IF a message is left it will generally explain that they are (name) at wells fargo bank in (location) calling for a specific person, in which case they dont mention any ties just they are calling, or they leave a generic voice message regarding a generic product with no name tied to it. they also include their number (1-800 WFB-OPEN, or 877-924-3604 plus a 10 digit extension. yes, 10 digit. as well as their business hours. I can guarantee this is not a scam, just a company taking advantage of a business relationship to inform you of what they have to offer

Had a missed call from this number a couple of days ago and today it called again and I answered because one of my kids has loan from Wells Fargo. When I answered the man on the other end of the line told me his name so fast that I asked him what his name was and he hung up on me.

I received 2 call from this number. No message left. I contacted Wells Fargo via my online account. They replied that they have no record of this number.

I received a call today 8/7/15 at 2:18 p.m. from 877-924-3604. The call registered as "Unavailable" so I blocked it. I am an older person and receive scam calls often. I called the number and it was Wells Fargo in Texas. It was consumer sales. I have a mortgage with this Bank in Va beach, va. and my payments are automatically deducted 2 times a month. No payments are late and none have been missed ever. I was told that it was reference to consumer sales and I told the person, who was very cordial, that I was not interested and asked why the call showed "Unavailable" and he said that he was not aware of that. It is Wells Fargo. Call that number and I'm sure you will get the same information. I wouldn't give the person my number because the number was blocked when I received the call with my CPR Call Blocker; one of the best investments I've ever made.

Caller ID says: "800 Service" -- friggin' scammers call every day even though they were blocked some time ago. Idiots.

I am a Wells Fargo customer, so I wonder if they have some program that gets them that information.

Got call, guy claimed he was from Wells Fargo. Called the actual customer service number from the Wells Fargo site and the representative indicated this IS NOT a number associated with Wells Fargo.

Called on Aug 29 but did not leave a message. I do not want these people calling me.

Message left supposedly from Wells Fargo, but since financial institutions should NEVER leave a message, this is BOGUS.
