This is legitimately AMEX COLLECTIONS. It is definitely them. NOT A SCAM. I confirmed it directly with Amex. They farm out their collections to collection agencies in India, but it is still through Amex. Right now I have a serious illness and cannot be bothered with this nonsense. BLOCKED.

they have called everyday for 2 weeks. Almost the same time of day. Shows on my mobile as telemarketer. I have never answered but it is getting annoying so I will know block the caller.

this is a scam. I called AMEX and confirmed they never ask you to provide the last 4 digit of social first. Funny thing is the rep actually called this fake number to confirm indeed it is a scam. PLEASE DO NOT EVER PROVDE YOUR SS NUMBER.

They sent a bot text from a 5 digit number stating they were american express and gave a fake account number and stated it requires attention. They gave this phone number to call and some fake reference number. Do not call them, do not reply to them.

Same thing to me. I told them to go to hel and stop calling me this isn't AMEX: they claim to be american express. they put you on hold and then come back and say they can't locate your info with the phone number on caller id. please provide your social security number. when we refused they said they already had it so just give it to them
