They called twice in a row but never left a message. I didn't answer because I didn't know if it was one of those area codes where they charge you like $1k per minute. Tried calling back from a different phone line and they immediately put me on hold so I hung up as soon as the music came on. It didn't say a company name, it just said "all of our representatives are helping other customers" and went straight to 'hold music'. Seems like a scam to me... Glad i checked it out online before I made another call back. Not trying to see a huge bill from my phone, but I sure hope my work doesnt see one either... uh oh.

I applied to a job yesterday and it was on jobs.com. Now I have received 2 calls one from this number and one where I called back it said education connection. I did not sign up to get more education or for them to call me.

Associated with filling out a job application. They (along with another few numbers like the one for Education Bridge) are looking to enroll you in online education. While I'm not certain, I'd guess that the schools they represent are not yet recognized by the regional accreditation bodies (i.e. North Central Association of Colleges and Schools).

wow. started getting this call yesterday. when i answered it was a weird buzzing sound. now that i read these comments i found out it is from a "supposed" job i applied for. don't people have better things to do then mess with those that are seriously trying to find jobs to survive??? i thought they were really trying to hire people, so i applied. now i have to be extra careful to who i apply for which by the way sucks...

Do not know who this is; however, I've received a rash of online college marketers since signing up for job hunting at VACS (Voice Applied Customer Service), a supposed employment / job site (voiceapplied.4jobs.com) yesterday. I suspect this is another of these marketers

I have been receiving these calls constantly since signing up for a VACS account as well. They also sent me an email asking to me to pay to "pre-qualify" for a credit report which they would send to employers on my behalf. First off, I would prefer if employers did NOT look at my credit history. Second, if they choose to do so it is up to them to pay for the report, not me.

Fair warning: avoid VACS, they are shady at best.
