Got a call from this number saying they were the IRS and needed to resolve an issue on my return. Called this number back on a land line from my work and the recording said the number was disconnected called the other number they left and got no answer, maybe because it was a landline? SCAM

Called but didn't answer when I said "hello". Noticed that the line didn't go dead right away. Wouldn't be surprised if this was a hacker, as my phone line is my internet line, too.

These vermin want to hack into your computer by getting you to run remote control software. Don't let them. Our pitiful government just keeps letting these vermin play their scam. FUBO.

They call and say they are from Microsoft and want to fix my computer. I asked them to give me their telephone number so I can verify that and they hung up. Clearly fraudulent.
