i have received calls from this number for the past 4 months, i know its a scam because i dont EVEN HAVE A CAR! i have tried EVERY POSSIBLE WAY of asking them to add me to their do not call list and THEY KEEP CALLING, one month they called me 4 different time, i have tried yelling at them, asking them nicely etc etc they refuse to listen. they JUST CALLED ME AGAIN and i asked the guy is this really the final call i will be receiving about this bullshit?? he was like W T F?? on his end, i just hung up on him. CAUSE I KNOW they will call AGAIN
i just hope that since i added my number on donotcall.gov that they will stop calling because it is like speaking to a brick wall!

Uhhh...I am soo fed up...they call me anytime in a day...6am..9am..early morning on weekends...during meetings...just ANYTIME...its a recorded call that the warranty on my car is about to expire...I recently bought a car and have no warranty on it...lats time when I pressed 1 to speak to a person, it said enjoy the music and after a while I could hear some people talking at the back, so I said hello..then I heard a guy asking someone else "where's chuck" but he dint speak to me and call disconnected.

IS THERE ANYWAY WE CAN COMPLAINT AGAINTS THEM? If yes, then how and to whom?

I called this freaking number and its a recording saying this number is no longer in service.

Don't know who or what is was as I don't answer calls from unknown numbers. Think it's a scam and after what I have read I wouldn't doubt it.

Didn't pick up, don't pick up unknown callers from weird codes. Apparently is a scam or telemarketing call.

Go to the link above and register ALL phones you have (cell and home lines). Then, even though it is a pain, report violations each and every time.

I did and the # of calls I am receiving has declined dramatically.

I just don't know how we can stop these people. If you ask them ANYTHING they hang up on you after making a rude remark. How is this legal?

They say that there are other services doing this but it is not true. It is always WARRANTY HELP DESK and is concerning a non existent car warranty.

Every time they say they'll take my number off the list.

The anonymous comments sent at 1:23 /26/09 must work for the company. I have been getting calls from this number on my cell for weeks. I finally had the patience to accept the call, and when I asked the employee for the name of his company, he replied "Warranty Help Desk", three times. Like other commentators here, the company will not give out information, but said they got the warranty expiration from the dealer. Odd, he could not give me the manufacturer of my vehicle, only that it was purchased between 1995 and 2007. Obvious scam, and the WV AG will hear from me tomorrow.They have my cell, my wife's, and my landline. What snakes.

Scam - won't provide any information about the
company, won't remove numbers from their list,
very evasive. They continue to call even when they ask
to stop.

They also are using robo dialers with no human on the other line in direct violation of the law (at least CA law)

18002197425 is from a scam company, it is fraud.
They call people and when you wait on the phone and IF you get a live person and you ask them what company they work for, they hang up on you. The recording states your car warranty is going to be up.
From what I have found on the internet, they get car info, owner info and vin numbers from your states DOT office so it must be an inside job sort of thing.
Report them to your state AG each and every time they call. Try to reel them in or record them by "pretending" you want what they are selling. If you live in TX, you do NOT have to inform them that you are recording them even if you are.
If they aren't reported each time to the State AG's office or Consumer Protection Agencies, the calls will continue.
But state Dept of Transportation office should also be held accountable.
They should all grow up and get real jobs and stop bothering people who are responsible. They are nothing but bottom feeding scum sucking pigs who should be treated as such.

The lady a I spoke with refused to provide any details of
her company, or how to call her back, and just claimed this
is the 'warranty help desk'.
After asking her few more questions she hanged up.
By her voice, I believe it is the same lady that called before.

Just called, didn't pick up, didn't leave a message.

Don't think the number is out of service. You call a different number, 800-219-7424 (which would likely belong to the same phone provider) and you get a different recorded message.

So these guys are robocalling but do not want to identify who they are and play a deceptive recording.

Call them plenty of times from a land line or pay phone and run up their 800 number bills
