Pretending to be PGE, saying that they would shut off my power in 45 mins if I didn't make a payment.

It took caller (male) time to connect after my answering the call.
Caller said he was Mike from PG&E Survey
Caller asked me how I was doing today.
I said fine
Caller said thank you very much, then disconnected the call.

This number is valid from PGE, on their contact list, received a call and it was to cancel work that was scheduled, I believe the number is also being used by scammers where it appears to be coming from them, but in those cases it is not.

It is PG&E phone number, but they are NOT PG&E. They will try to tell you that your account is delinquent, they want credit card info!

Called at 2:10 PM on March 12. Came in Toll Free 800-743-5000. I didn't answer the phone. There were 2 rings - a quick pause and 4 rings. Went to answering machine. Message $397 on your Bank of America debit card, if you wish information, push 1. Said something else, but so faint I couldn't hear it. Hung up without a phone number to call. Scam
