Text was purportedly from JPMorganChase telling me to call "toll-free number" in 818 area code. I have no accounts with them, so ignored call.

I have received 3 of these texts from numbers "3842, 3601,3740" each says 818-864-3253@chase.com / / You have received a new JPMorgan Chase banking message. Call now free: 1-818-864-3253 and follow instructions"

Each time with a new number: 806-686-0806; 845-445-6564; and 818-864-3253... complete scam.

got the same text from an 818 area code saying to call chase they had a message for me. Called my bank and this is a phishing scam so do not call them!!

This text came in twice saying call CHASE now and actually used some of my minutes up. Gave two different numbers and even said go online @chase.com. Total scam!

Same text as NotStupid, and I'm not a Chase customer in any capacity. I just double checked to make sure none of my credit cards were sold to them, which they weren't, and then found this.... So yea. Scam.

I got this message. I am actually a Chase customer but I did not sign up th 'texting' service. It also sent to one of my prepaid business phone number which is I never use for any banking.

Came as an SMS / Text Message saying:

QUOTE "You have received a new JPMorgan Chase banking message. Call now free : 1-818-864-3253 and follow instructions." UNQUOTE

One: this is on a prepaid cell phone number that I DO NOT use for any of my personal business

Two: Call "FREE" to a 1-818 number

received same "chase" message Notified Chase but did not give them any message. The 818 code is located in Southern California. The recorded voice sounds like it is coming from Great Britain but this is clearly a SCAM
