A man called today saying I was charged with check fraud and I had to pay for it today. When I did not call them back they called me back threatening to send an officer to arrest me in 45 min if I didn't call and pay it right then. I called sheriffs dept and they said this was 100% a scam. They said if I had warrants an investigator wouldn't call me to tell me to call a 1844 number and pay it off or he's coming to arrest me. Scam!
