Yes, same scenario. They called my grandmother pretending to be me. She said, “no you’re not.” She knows my voice. They never got to the point of asking for the money because she hung up. These people need to be caught.

They called my mother this morning claiming to be her grandson in jail. Fortunately she called me before sending any money.

This just happened to my dad this week - called saying they were his grandson and that he was in jail and needed money. Unfortunately, my dad took the bait and is out $5,500 in cash. Dispicable.

This person is calling pretending to be someone's grandson, asking for bail money to get out of jail. They are taking advantage of the elderly, and I don't know why this can't be prosecuted somehow!!
