Called and said I was being sued for tax deficiency and tax fraud. Told me to call back. Automated before my VM beeped. DO NOT CALL THIS BACK OR GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION. The IRS will never reach you by phone, they ALWAYS reach you by mail. SCAM SCAM SCAM!!.

Called me this morning I looked up the number and it said scam so I called them back and day nice try

Claimed to be IRS Federal Agent and I was accused of tax fraud. Poor computer recording started before my voicemail beeped.

Automated call saying that they are from the IRS trying to investigate. The IRS will NEVER call and threaten you to call back. They will ALWAYS contact you by mail. Do NOT give out any of your information over the phone or make any payment over the phone! If you are worried EVERY IRS agent has an identifying #, ask for there #(they have to give it to you) and tell them that you will take up the matter in person at your local IRS office the next business day. If they fail to provide their # IT IS A SCAM. If they tell you that you cannot take it up in person, IT IS A SCAM. -Tax Preparer
