I recieved a call fri at 6pm threatening me on my machine that she was from the Dept of treasury ,Legal affairs dept. and it related to tax fraud. he had an Indian accent. and i we didnt call back they would report us to the local authorities . I call back , someone answered said it was legal affairs dept and the mail box was full! She called me this morning said her name was Amy Brown tag 40251 11 constitution ave DC 02224. I made her give me all that info. Then she wanted my name ! I said you must have my name you have caller ID you a fraud and a scammer and I have reported you! what NERVE. trying to frighten us! The IRS NEVER CALLS BEWARE OF THIS CALL!

I missed two calls from this number on Friday, January 9. The second time the person called they left a threatening voice mail message regarding an IRS investigation and demanding a call back or obtain an attorney. I called back and was told my agent had gone for the day. I asked for the agent's name. The reply: John Cooper. I was told to call back Monday.

I returned a nissed a call on my cell to (202) 241-8578. A recorded, young 20ish female voice said that I'd reached the IRS Investigation division. This a total sham

I received a call on my cell and did not answer but I called back from another number and when she tried to tell me she was from the Investigation division of the Internal Revenue service I told her I was notifying the News media to her scam and she started screaming at me and I hung up!

Caller from (202) 241-8578 claimed to be with the IRS, said I had been ignoring their calls, last chance regarding tax lien or action would be taken.
