Got the call today from Dan Wiseman about a criminal lawsuit filed and to call back as soon as I get the message. The number was 206-312-0706 and was an robot recording , I did call the number Rang a few times then busy signal .. the IRS will send you a certified letter in the mail of anthing happening to you
I have gotten 3 calls since yesterday from Agent Donald Weisman saying a criminal lawsuit has been filed against me by the IRS. Really, there's no such thing as a criminal lawsuit. There's criminal law and civil law. A lawsuit is civil, criminal is plain and simple criminal an arrest or indictment and then go thru the judicial process. How stupid do these clowns think I am....obviously they've been successful or they wouldn't keep doing this garbage. Oh yes, I have the same "case #" as everyone else CF93271....Hmmmmmm?

I fell for this call hook line and sinker. I felt pretty stupid after the call, but apparently this tax fraud scam is relatively new and I didn't have any idea what was going on. There were warning signs everywhere. I could barely understand the two people I spoke to because the line was bad and they had heavy accents. They said I owed them 3576$ in back taxes from 2009-2014 (which I later found out was the exact amount and timeline they used for other people they scammed.) They told me I owed that amount because of a problem with my 1040. They said I was going to have the police arrive at my house in 20minutes if I didn't comply and that I couldn't discuss this matter with anyone else. I freaked out because I didn't understand how it could have happened. I said I was unemployed and that I had been in school for some of that time. I asked them if I could call my dad to see if I could get the money. They said okay, but don't tell anyone else, and that they would call back and I "had better do it." It seems so stupid now but I was scared out of my wits. I called my dad crying and he told me to calm down and explain what happened. I did and he said that scammers call people all of the time during tax season to try and trick people. He asked me if I felt any better. I did, but I felt very dumb. I told a friend about it and she said her aunt was conned out of 9000$ the same way. Jeez. Live and learn. At least I didn't pay them anything.
