scam to gain personal information.

I just got a call from this number. She said it was the Government calling, telling me that they were giving me a grant for $9200. She had my name right, but not my zip code. She asked me for the updated information, that if they didn't have it, they couldn't transfer the funds. LOL. I told her that i didn't know who she was, that if she provided me with a number I could call her back. She hung up. I tried calling the number back...it said "not in service". LOL crazy world.

Call once Friday and once today. Does not leave a message. I have blocked the call.

Called today. He sing sang my first name. I asked him not to call back any more.

This number calls me 4-5 times a day and does not leave a message. The one time that I answered they were asking for someone other than myself. She spoke very broken English, difficult to understand, refused to tell me who they were and then hung up. When I call back, the number is "not in service".

Received 2 calls from this number today(3/16/2017). Did not leave a message the first time, but did the 2nd time. It was 7 seconds of background noise(others talking, etc). Nobody actually said anything to ME though.

Recorded message telling me my Microsoft account has a virus and I needed to call that number to fix it.

They called 3 times today

When I picked up the phone no one answered. When I called back, the phone number is not in service.

Lady called said was from the US Department of
Grants and that I was approved for a grant in the amount of $9,999.00 which I did not have to pay back. She spoke very broken English and I said no thank you and don't call back again. Had received call from this # previously today but did not answer.

So sad...US Government wants to give me 9000.00 but the gentleman could not speak English, lol... Told him to give it back to the government as a gift from me and hung up...

They called telling me that I won $9,000 from the U.S. Government in grant money that I never have to pay back. When I asked how I won and how they gained my information, she responded the "U.S. government" and then promptly hung up.
