(206) 209-1622

I received a missed call and voicemail from the same number listed above (206)209-1622 stating I com titled tax fraud??! I tried calling back I think it was four times and every single time it did the "beep, beep, beep" like someone is hanging up and never rang and no one ever answered which is pretty concerning to me. I'm 26 and a full time student and have worked part time so I don't have a lot of income and never claim much or receive much from my taxes so I'm very surprised and concerned about this. I've also been told that the IRS will alert you to any matters via writing/mail to the address listed on your tax return or driver's license and I haven't received anything so everyone is saying this is just a scam to get someone to call back and release personal information or what? This is super concerning so if anyone else has any more suggestions or experiences please add them. Thank you all!

Everyone knows that the federal government will notify you in writing regarding theses matters. I listenened to the voicemail and knew it was a scam.

Same situation as John. Got a robocall from 206-209-1579 (when I answered, the line stayed live for two seconds and then the other party hung up). I blocked the number. An hour later, I got the same treatment from 206-209-1622.

I received one call from this number and another call from a 206-209-1579 but both times they left an automated message stating I committed tax fraud. I have not returned their call and I will not. This is obviously a scam!

This number has called me several times today. I finally called the number back and they claimed that I have committed tax fraud. I stated that I had not received anything in the mail from the IRS stating this. They said that attempts had been made to deliver letters to me, but were not left because the letters must be signed for. I asked which address they tried to deliver the letter to and she proceeded to warn me to be careful of what I say because I was being recorded. I asked again for the address the letter had been sent to and she tried to warn me again so I hung up. They haven't tried to call back.
