I tried to block the # on line. and it saud that this number cannot be blocked

Verizon says they are not part of their company and blocked the number for me
Asks u to dial a number and when you do you get some recording saying there is no message
Some how its a scam
Verizon says that there is no change on my account like the voicemail states

It's Verizon calling to remind you that your past due on your bill or for payment. It's legit. Not a scammer. I just received a call saying I was past due on my cell payment. Once I paid my amount due they quit calling and it paymt posted to my acct.

UPDATE.........I got a call back from a manager in the Fraud Department at Verizon today and he confirmed that the 1-800-249-2462 and 206-315-3010 belong to the Varolii Corporation. He stated that Verizon's Financial Services has outsourced to Varolii to contact Verizon customers that have past due amounts owed.
This company guarantees Verizon that they will get the customers to call them back through creative ways of wording their messages. This Fraud Manager at Verizon apologized over and over again to me that I had to spend numerous hours this week trying to resolve the issue and was very sorry that Verizon kept telling me it was a phishing scam. IT IS NOT A PHISHING SCAM!!!! DO NOT LET THEM TELL YOU THAT!!!!! He said that he is going to escalate this up his management chain to find out why Verizon is misleading their customers and using this 3rd party company to send deceptive messages such as "there has been a recent change to your account , please call Verizon within 24hours." I asked for him to call me back within a week to let me know what the outcome was from his escalation. He promised me he would call. This is the first person in over 7 hours of communication with Verizon this week that has been forthright and honest and actually very contrite. Thank you VERRRRY MUUUUCH MATT!!!!! With the constant threat of fraud and phishing scams that consumers have to deal with in this day and age, it is just completely WRONG that Verizon would choose to mislead their customers in such a way to collect payments. People are being contacted that do NOT even have past due amounts.

Other companies use this Service so if you do not have Verizon, and are getting calls / texts from these numbers it is NOT A PHISHING SCAM. They are attempting to collect money!

These people that call for Verizon sure are busy with so many different #'s. Ran out of room on my call block.

I called verizon I keep wetting these calls. Its a fake phishing number

claimed to be from Verizon, did not leave a voice mail, then sent a text saying they needed to speak with me in the next 24 hours.

Verizon probably calling to remind me that I missed two payments. My bank if effing slow and hasn't posted my payment yet.

I missed the call, didn't call back because I've only had this new cell phone # for a little over a month so everyone who has my number is saved as a contact in my phone already. About the same time, I got a text msg from 75763 saying to call Verizon Wireless, they need to tak to me in the next 24 hrs. So I decided to look up the number online before calling back. But I am very skeptical because I have automatic payment set up, so there should be no reason to contact me about it.

asks for personal information even when you say its not the person they are calling for.

Think its either a collection agency or a telemarketer. Calls 6-10 times a day + even though blocked + they get hung up on after 1 ring, still keeps calling 2 minutes later, every 2-3 minutes.

This morning my daughter received a call from a caller stating that there was an important message regarding changes on her account, I called and made a report to Verizon. Then today at 4:01 I received a call on my home phone stating to press 1 if I was _____ regarding my Verizon account the call showed up as varolii corporation 1 800 315 3010 on the phone, (my home numberfrom my local cable company ) my cell phone was not called, but my daughters phone was called this am. I did call and make a report. I called the number back and it said thank you for calling Verizon wireless, please enter your 10 digit phone number to retrieve your message. I entered my house number and it said that the message has been deleted or the number entered was wrong. I did not attempt to use my own cell number.
