woman called from this number saying my computer was sending reports the it wasnt working properly and she would help me restore everything to full capability. it was a scam she did not know what system i had.

Same call i got from person Alex saying my computer has not been updated with recent security application which now showing them alert on their Global system and sending a message . He told me do i have windows 8 ? i lied to him and said YES. Then he told me he will guide me through updating the system on my laptop. Anyhow I gave him false excuse that i don't have laptop with me right now. So he asked me when to call me back ? I replied on friday evening ( so that in few days i can verify this number on internet). DO NOT FALL FOR THIS NOS OR ANY NOS CLAIMING ANY SUCH THING BEFORE ACTING VERIFY THE NUMBER.

This dude called me being rude and couldn't answer any of my questions. Definitely a scam.

Foreign sounding man called himself Alex. Said he was from Microsoft. Could not understand him well but he said my computer was sending a message and that it was infected. I hung up and checked with Microsoft. This is a popular scam. They have a link to contact Internet crime and the FBI. Do not fall for this!
