Such idiots, who would actually believe this crap? Why is this number even active ? Does the IRS even care? Or how about the FBI of Homeland Security? Come on..... Where is our government on this?

Seriously, if anyone falls for this perhaps they deserve it?

I received a call from this number with an automated recording that an arrest warrant has been issued against me for tax fraud. I called the number back and a male with a middle eastern accent answered, and when I questioned him, he immediately hung up.

got the call today on a cell phone we don't even use. The same crap. IRS and there is a warrant for my arrest. Why can't these people be tracked down and locked up?

Said they had a warrant for my arrest; gave a too-fast case number and said they advised me to call back. It was a machine. Other similar calls have had an Indian accent, and have used names like Lisa Davis and Becky Klaus, or have had a male Indian-accented voice using other names. I don't remember this one saying a name, as I answered it, and the message was very rapid.

I kept calling the number, told them to stop calling me and asked why they keep hanging up on me? The Indian accented man told me to stop bothering him! haha. Do you think I did? No way!!!

Called the number and confronted them. Told them I knew it was a scam and to take my number off the list. They hung up on me. Called them 2 more times, kept hanging up on me. Then they wouldn't answer the phone, I figured I was going to bother them just as much as they bother me! SCAM!!!!!

I received a call from 206-539-4992 posing as Internal Revenue Service (it was a robotic message stating it was urgent that I called back) saying the IRS had a warrant for us.
This is the third time I get this type of calls, however, now was robotic type of message, the other two occasions were live (individual with Indian accent).
