Received 2 calls from this number, answered the 3rd time. Loud background, could hear person breathing. I told them if they weren't going to talk then don't call me. Man with thick accent asked for me, I asked what he wanted. I was told that my name and number was randomly selected by the US government to receive a free grant. I told him I was not interested and to take my name off their call list. He laughed and said if I answered a few questions he'd take my name off. I told him that by law once I ask to be removed they have to remove my name and number. He said that he guaranteed that I'd still get calls and he doesn't have to remove my information. I hung up and blocked the number.

An Indian sounding man called and said he wanted to talk to me about a serious problem with my computer. I told him I am well aware of this scam and I have told them several times before to take my phone number out of their system.

Caller state they are from Windows and that they need to gain access to our computer to take care of malicious software that has been downloaded without our permission. I have received at least 1 call every day for the past 2 months. I called Microsoft directly and found out that they do not ever call customers as they do not track any kind of information like this. If a customer notices issues with his/her computer, it is up to the customer to contact Microsoft. After having to pay Microsoft to spend 3 hrs fixing all the damage that was done to the computer, the authorized tech informed me that these calls are scams. The fake "windows employees" have already managed to get into the computer and have accessed personal info. Their intent with trying to gain remote access is to steal more information and then crash the computer completely. I have asked these people repeatedly to stop calling and I have now been threatened by the man on the most recent calls from MANY different #

calls repeatedly asking about dental insurance, tries to fish for my name, at one point several calls ago falsely represented self as a Microsoft tech warning my computer has a virus then tried to get me to give information. we've asked him to stop calling every time and to remove us from any call list. harassment continued this morning with him screaming at me through the phone and hanging up.

I turned them in to Home Land Security. I also received a call from 967 thought it was the US but it's the country of Yemen. Area code's 305, 310 and others with the same guy. They can get a computer generated phone. This I believe is more than just a scam.
